The chemistry between the two main characters keeps the book flowing even though I didn’t really feel a deep connection between them, and I struggled to sink into this story.
The fact that there are five books preceding this one didn’t seem to affect the plot except you had an idea of who the couples are if you wanted to go back and read them.
There didn’t seem to be as much conflict for two “love ‘em and leave ‘em” types as I'd expect, things happen quickly and resolve quickly.
The family dynamic is nice to read, and the funeral of Cash’s grandfather is lovely yet emotional.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
