I love playing battle royales so i found the main plot appealing, the random sexualization of characters, most of them minors made it kinda hard to enjoy at times though. and the ending was... um...

This book had a looming dread over it from the beginning, which really helped shape the atmosphere. With some many characters in the book I had though it would be a little muddled. But many of the characters get flushed out and are memorable. The whole premise of the novel is simple yet destructive, it really packed a punch with a little mix up of a few genres, Dystopian, Physical Horror, Thriller. I really enjoyed this book, I just wish it was a tad shorter.

I skipped a 100 pages cause I was getting tired of all the sexist comments in the book. But I did wanted to know how it ends.

Unbelievably rich and dark, and a lovely exploration of a slow descent to madness. Not for the faint of heart.
