The Chosen books are one of my all time favorites series, and Spencer and Aleron's story was the perfect addition to an already amazing world.

I loved how well Aleron understood Spencer, and how easy and sweet their romance was. The rest of the pack was wonderful as ever, and I'm already excited to read Scout and Coal's (I'm totally shipping them) story.

*I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.*

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that it wasn’t as action packed, a little slower with information to process which is really the only way for Spencer. I like Aleron and Spencer together, and their romance and I really enjoyed the cameos as we get to be invited to a wedding

OMG they are so cute! Absolutely wonderful read, as with all of her books, well written and the characters are amazing. I can't wait for Scout's book I am so excited to read his story.

I love this world

Plots thicken and bad guys still plague the pack but live finds a way of bringing people together. I liked that both Spencer and Aleron grew as people together.

Not much to say about this book in the series other than it was enjoyable and gave me all the warm fuzzies.

I liked this one as we get closer to finding out who the big baddie is and more importantly who the oracle is.
I feel liked there was some hints given but I can’t work it out.

I was looking forward to this one and it didn’t disappoint. I was wondering how Ms Blake was going to work out the logistics of the guys being together. Both have very different lives and it was interesting seeing how they would combine them.

I love Spencer in all his nerdy glory. I love that he can immerse himself in the research and forget everything around him. Also the way the pack understood his quirks and worked with him. They helped him in stressful situations get the information out of his brain by being calm and talking it out with him.

Aleron was fabulous too. Watching him understand that he is part of the pack and enjoying that connection was great. His time with Spencer gave him the opportunity to appreciate the parts of life he had never been subjected to. The parts that money can’t buy.

Looking forward to the next installment.

This one took me a little while to get into. I found it a little odd how they treated Spencer almost like a child, but as it progressed he filled out the character better so it seemed to even out and be more like you would someone secluded or perhaps neurodivergent.

Up until about 50-60 %, I didn't connect too much with Spencer and Aleron as a couple, but in the last half (which is also where most of the action takes place) I found myself more captivated with both the story and the pairing.

For the overall arc, we find some answers and some new questions, but I find myself becoming increasingly impressed with the universe the author has managed to create.

I loved this book. Spencer and Aleron were adorable together. I loved the growth of the Aleron and Spencer and how well they complemented each other. Wonder side characters and great storytelling.

Definitely not as strong as the first two books in the series, and the reason is the first 30% of this novel, which takes place entirely at the wedding of characters I suspect were introduced in one of the other spin-off series in this universe. It added absolutely nothing to the story and could've been deleted entirely without affecting the storyline or character development or romantic development between Aleron and Spencer. For those of us semi-new to this universe, the wedding scenes were just a barrage of names and relationships that quickly got confusing. The entire first 30% should've been a freebie novella or extra bonus scene, not part of this book.

I liked the relationship between Aleron and Spencer and I really liked how they talked to each other and didn't make drama for the sake of drama. The evolving mystery storyline is interesting as well, and the writing keeps me engaged. All in all, I look forward to Scout's book in March.
