Średnia pozycja. Dobrze napisana jednak nie była interesująca. Tajemnicę poznajemy po tytule a nauka, która idzie za tą książką jest raczej dobrą ciekawostką odnośnie wyobrażeń autora niż prawdziwą nauką.
Here again we have another classic that I knew something about, but never actually read before. This was a very interesting story with some chilling moments and another message about the dangers in scientific exploration meshed with the question of what defines humanity. I like that this story is told in third-person so the reader can see other people reacting to the Invisible Man, and the mystery of him can build until it's finally revealed.
I like how the story was set up. There was a lot of mystery surrounding this man before we discovered his nature. There were some eerie and haunting moments as well; nothing too frightening for me, but just enough to continue the wonder and mystery.
Overall this was a good story. I admit it didn't grab my attention in the same way as previous novels by Wells, but it was a fascinating piece and did raise questions on how far is too far with science. I enjoyed it and Wells still stands as one of my favorite writers.

This book is quite an enjoyable read. While completely different from Wells’ The War of the Worlds or The Time Machine, it falls into science fiction and represents Wells’ unique writing style and his love for mixing scientific theory and fantasy.
The story plays with the audience's empathy and emotions. The invisible man is a sad character, alone in the world, whose life has been destroyed by his choices and outside influences. However, he is a horrible person even before he makes himself invisible. His lack of empathy and desire to harm and rule over people are constantly evident and make him extremely unlikeable.
This story is unexpected, violent, and completely unique. It is not a tale about an isolated invisible person but a tale of warning, horror, hatred, empathy, and, in some ways, sorrow and regret.
I enjoyed this piece but not as much as Wells’ other works, which completely blew me away. There is a lot of charm in this story, and it again falls into the early science fiction but in a very different manner. I warn potential readers that it is interesting but extremely unexpected and that they should not be too crestfallen if they do not like it.
