Helpful and enjoyable, this is a valuable resource for anyone looking into going into public (or even academic) librarianship. I learned so much from it and have enjoyed reading many of the authors that Saricks recommends. My only gripe is that I wish Saricks would have covered nonfiction too, since nonfiction RA is becoming increasingly popular.

I found the genre classifications and reader's interview suggestions very useful. The book and author lists, less so---our library's copy is quite out of date and many listed authors are no longer popular or even stocked here. Still, very helpful!
