Predictable, had potential, but too much sex. Am I becoming a prude or did anyone else just want the story to get back to the damned plot?
The characters were not supposed to be likable and they become a little more likable at the end but they were still annoying.
I think this books started out with so much to offer but was ruined with smut; I cannot believe I am saying this being a huge Outlander/romance novel fan.
I think this book lacked build and anticipation and that is why I felt it sucked. Sorry!

I finally got through this book. It took me... a while...
I cringed most of the way through but I didn't hate it. It's just one of those books that wants to make you cringe, I have to be in a certain mood for that. If you like bus stop tattoos, sharks, a MMC who you kinda hate most of the book, and weird old men... You found your next read! I will say that I love the suspense of this book and could have got on board with Enzo if his inner thoughts weren't hating the FMC most of the way through. It's one thing for the MMC to love the sex, but I love a man who obsesses over, worships đđť, his lady.
