Shout to Ari for lending me a copy. I found the plot to be very humorous and full of twists - a man seeks to prove his innocence with the help of interesting individuals… albeit their intentions are not quite aligned with his. Would highly recommend!

An interesting view into guilt and accountability with bits and pieces that inspected conspiracy and fanaticism. Overall super interesting.

I’m currently working through all of Vonnegut’s novels, and I can safely say that this is my absolute favorite work of his so far. If you love Slaughterhouse-Five this is a fantastic next step. One of my favorite things about reading Vonnegut is that reading across his works rewards a deeper understanding of the broader world as many characters who appear briefly in one novel will take on central roles in another. This is one such instance.
