okay this book, had very little witches, mention of witches saying there is curses due to witches but nothing else. Horrorr I don't know really were maybe near the end. It is just a book taking place in history. It fewlt like some of the belief systerm was bases loosing off of mormon's beliefes(or something close to it).
I found the witch part of the story lack luster, I guess I wanted something a little more but it wasn'ted. I should have dnfed it because I was bored most of the time.
Will not read the 2nd book.

The writing style and plot was too childish for my liking. I thought it would be a bit darker than the average YA novel but it was still as cheesy as the rest.
