Grave and Elliot and Broderick and Alasdair are such a wonderful polycule, and I love them together. Grace trying to find her place in a found family when her family are a bunch of dicks and finding that family with the gargoyles and her best friend was extremely satisfying. I loved this book.

CW fatphobia, stalking, deception

Do you like a sweet hero? Do you like a spicy hero? Do you like a grumpy hero? Do you love monster romance? Would you like to have all of them in the one book with a plus size FMC in a poly relationship? Well, here it is!

In a poly relationship, particularly with multiple heroes, the characters can sort of start to blur together and are indecipherable. Not here. Lillian Lark managed to craft a 4 person poly relationship with 4 very distinct personalities which all compliment each other perfectly.

All 4 characters were working through some shit individually, and collectively managed to help each other heal and feel worthy of love and it was wonderful to watch it unfold. Particularly with Alistair, our alpha,  with a gruff and stony exterior (pardon the pun), gradually showing vulnerability and letting his partners know how he really feels. A real open channel of communication being revealed throughout.

Did this book make me cry? Yes. Did it make me feel "feelings"? Yes 😻 Did it show character development? Yes. Did I feel a strong connection between the characters? Yes.

This was everything I could've asked for, to be honest. Also, can we talk about the breeding kink and knotting for a sec? Did I think I'd be a huge fan? Not really. However, my stance has firmly changed 😂

This is my first romance with more than 2 love interests. This was everything I needed it to be sweet and spicy. I absolutely loved the heroine. Lark is an exceptional romance writer.

I received an ARC in exchange of an honest review.
