🌶️🌶️🌶️

I devoured this book. It’s rare for me to become an instant fan of an author but I’ll read anything Lark has to give. This was like sinking into a hot bath in winter after a long day. Comforting and sensual in a way that is addictive. I liked how the characters were aware of their own flaws and we got to see them imperfectly accounting for them. I love that we were given plenty of time for joy amongst the conflict. I liked that the plus size character was not the only one with body issues.

Maybe I’ll come back and write more but I’m so tired from staying up late two nights in a row to finish this which is as high a complement as I can personally offer.

Holy Heck this book was H-O-T as Hades hiimself! 🥵🔥 I love a good RH even better when it involves the supernatural. Definitely deserves a 5🌶 rating. The only thing I did not enjoy was the
stalking
done by the ex. This element was not mentioned in the "before you read/listen" info on Spotify and did not enjoy the surprise trigger. Other than that I loved it, definitely one of those books not to listen to at work...

"All my heart and mind are filled with are pages, a cozy fire, and the males that inspired the deepest sort of good ache in my soul."

Grace is tired of the scheming of her witch family. She's low contact with them, but it hasn't stopped them from encouraging her to lose weight, marry a witch from a "good" family, and come home to be a wife. But when she approaches Rose Love at the Love Bathhouse to hopefully find a match, Grace never expects to be thrown into a relationship with one gargoyle - let alone three.

Sometimes - listen - sometimes the body needs a reverse harem gargoyle smut. It's like blowing air into a Nintendo gameboy cartridge, it definitely helps. It resets something. At least that's what I'm going to say and we're all just going to accept it. I loved this. I've devoured the other books in the Monstrous Matches series (WEREWOLF IS NEXT!!!) and I just really adore the world that Lillian Lark has created. It's so rich and full of so many interesting characters and people. I'm a sucker for anything that involves a slightly dramatic third act (and this delivers) and I just really feel like Lark did a wonderful job balancing the way Grace fell slowly in love with our three gargoyles.

Now... That being said. Broderick could get it. It's no surprise the slightly unhinged artist type is my favorite, at this point I am transparent. I did love Elliot and Alasdair - but wow. I'm so excited to dive into the next novella in this series and then Emilia's book after! These have been great binge reads on my phone, I literally couldn't put this one down.

Content Warnings: Sexual content (MMFM scenes, plus more), Stalking (mild), Body shaming/Fatphobia (from family), Kidnapping (brief), Grief/Death, Animal death (used in spellwork)

I surprisingly found myself unable to put this book down. I don’t generally read much fantasy but found this world easy to read and follow. All of the characters were quite likable and as a reader I found myself rooting for all 4 of the mates. This book is definitely smutty but there is emotional connections between all of the characters. There is also a sub-plot involving stalking by an ex. I recommend this for folks looking for a spicy fantasy read!

A great poly monster romance! Each love interest was well developed, and the spicy scenes were creative, hot, and full of consent. I was looking forward to reading this book for a while, and it did not disappoint!

Grace is a sweet heroine who has to work through her personal issues due to her hurtful family. She has been on some terrible dates and decides to go to the match maker at the bathhouse (the same from Stalked by the Kraken!).

This is a MMMF relationship. I thought the relationship dynamics were interesting since the Gargoyles were all already established in they own polyamorous relationship before meeting Grace.

If you see the trigger warnings, the villain in the story is responsible for the
stalking, vandalism, kidnapping, and body shaming.
. It's brief and not overwhelming.
