I wasn’t sure what I was going to think about this one…RH/poly relationship with three gargoyles and a witch. Super steamy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ very enjoyable read!

I can already tell I’m going to love everything Lark writes. Her writing is really captivating and her characters are so fun. I’m also very intrigued by the magic world she’s built.

"All my heart and mind are filled with are pages, a cozy fire, and the males that inspired the deepest sort of good ache in my soul."

Grace is tired of the scheming of her witch family. She's low contact with them, but it hasn't stopped them from encouraging her to lose weight, marry a witch from a "good" family, and come home to be a wife. But when she approaches Rose Love at the Love Bathhouse to hopefully find a match, Grace never expects to be thrown into a relationship with one gargoyle - let alone three.

Sometimes - listen - sometimes the body needs a reverse harem gargoyle smut. It's like blowing air into a Nintendo gameboy cartridge, it definitely helps. It resets something. At least that's what I'm going to say and we're all just going to accept it. I loved this. I've devoured the other books in the Monstrous Matches series (WEREWOLF IS NEXT!!!) and I just really adore the world that Lillian Lark has created. It's so rich and full of so many interesting characters and people. I'm a sucker for anything that involves a slightly dramatic third act (and this delivers) and I just really feel like Lark did a wonderful job balancing the way Grace fell slowly in love with our three gargoyles.

Now... That being said. Broderick could get it. It's no surprise the slightly unhinged artist type is my favorite, at this point I am transparent. I did love Elliot and Alasdair - but wow. I'm so excited to dive into the next novella in this series and then Emilia's book after! These have been great binge reads on my phone, I literally couldn't put this one down.

Content Warnings: Sexual content (MMFM scenes, plus more), Stalking (mild), Body shaming/Fatphobia (from family), Kidnapping (brief), Grief/Death, Animal death (used in spellwork)

I surprisingly found myself unable to put this book down. I don’t generally read much fantasy but found this world easy to read and follow. All of the characters were quite likable and as a reader I found myself rooting for all 4 of the mates. This book is definitely smutty but there is emotional connections between all of the characters. There is also a sub-plot involving stalking by an ex. I recommend this for folks looking for a spicy fantasy read!

This was a top tier monster romance, but Lillian Lark never disappoints so I am not surprised at all.

I loved the way they all played against each other. I did had the lies and secrets, but appreciated the warning before read that was coming.
