Yikes.. this was like reading icebreaker all over again except the characters didn’t have any chemistry and the author seemed to lose the plot halfway through..

Another quick plane read. Nothing really special, imo, but I was entertained. The FMCs daddy issues hit a little bit close to home, but I feel like even though we also spent large chunks of the book in the MMCs head, he wasn’t as fleshed out as she was and so he felt more like a stock character to me. I also felt like the story with the break in and the weird ex who was dating Summer’s professor was wrapped up a little too neatly and I felt like it needed more, because that Donny guy was constantly getting brought up and I feel he deserved way more shit.
