Good book written in the perspective of Sylvia and the diary of Victoria. This book was similar to another book that I read but it was so interesting I didn’t want to put it down. Throughout the book it will keep you guessing about if what Victoria writes in her diary is true. The twists at the end definitely topped the book off.

I wanted to really like this one after reading a few of her books, but it just wasn't nearly as good. I agree with people who said it was very similar to Verity...

A man hires a young woman to help take care of his sick wife. Need I say more?

3 stars.

Freida does it again! Lots of twists (as expected) and did not disappoint. Shocking to the very last page!

It's good but not as good as the Housemaid. I enjoyed the plot twists but I just think it lacked the "surprising" factor I was looking for in a thriller novel. I can also agree that it is closely similar to Verity especially with how it started but I beg to differ when it comes to the characters, and the ending, I can say I'm more impressed that a lot of them played a role and that the book ended with complete justice.

Sylvia made my head hurt. Victoria made my head hurt even more.
The only reason I didn't drop this is because I'm a fan of Freida and I've never been bored by any of her books before. All her female characters are incredibly annoying. I hate the way she portrays her women as naïve and stupid. Victoria still staying with the walking red flag even after everything he did before they got married. Apparently, she found his little ocd endearing. If I find myself in Sylvia's situation, I'd actually want to go to the hospital but she feels "she's safer being trapped in a house with someone that could be a murderer because ambulances have accidents"
