A quick read that left me still thinking - would make a good reread. The ideas of time travel and moon colonies and pandemics - lots to absorb.

Not a genre I normally read but glad I read this. Loved the premise and figuring it all out towards the end - maybe obvious to someone who reads more sci fi but was very fun for me! Also makes you think, in a good way. Keen to read her other books.

Really good! Finished it in one sitting, so I think calling it a page turner is an apt description!

Emily St John Mandel has such a unique way of telling a story. I find her writing to be very calming and almost mediative. Sea of Tranquility is probably my favorite of her books to date.
The multiple story lines were very immersive so much so that each time the story line changed I was a little disappointed to leave the previous. Characters were diverse with little to no physical descriptions (yes!) so the reader can visualize them via their actions, interactions with other characters and intermonalogues. Highly recommend this book!

I listened to the Audible book which was very well done. There are four narrators (all were very pleasant to listen to) so it was easy to keep the different timelines and characters straight.

Beautiful writing style. Liked the time travel concept a lot, but had a bit of trouble understanding some parts at an emotional level.  I think it was lacking some indescribable depth for me specifically, so it didn’t resonate as much as it could have. It did remind me of some favorite books “To Paradise” and “This Is How You Lose The Time War”.  I think I’d have liked it more if it were a bit longer or something.  I am interested to read more from this author because I think her prose is gorgeous. Just didn’t quite get this one I don’t think.
