Great start to a new series

This was a great read. Right now there are so many questions about what is to come! I really like that the characters are a little older - this isn’t a high school story, or even a college story. It just sits better with me than having 18 year olds going through this. Okay, next book!

I'm pretty disappointed. DNF at 56%.

My issues with it:
- Very insta love based solely on physical attraction with no actual connection between the characters
- No world building and a lot of telling and not showing
- The language is very... "bulbous head"
- It just jumps between scenes, conversations barely make sense and it feels like it's just patching tropes together, often in a way that makes no logical sense, just because it's convenient that way
- The characters are supposed to be college age but everyone just behaves like high schoolers.
- The final straw was when the first actual sex scene was BAD. She's a virgin and there's barely any foreplay when he should know better? She's a virgin and she has an orgasm while it's being described that she can feel her hymen breaking? I'm sorry but WHAT?
