So this book omg . i know it’s June but I got kobo plus and this had been on my tbr for a while so when i found out this was on kobo plus & in audio form . I was omg. Anyways this book made me smile so much ( there was not a moment i literally wasnt smiling. I adore both jonathan and Gabi. As a you’ve got mail fan Reading or rather listening to this book really felt like You’ve got mail. - I adored this book. It was the perfect christmas grumpy sunshine book.

As an autistic girlie myself i really loved the Autism rep in this book ( with Gabi) however i did not 100% relate to her but thats okay because every autistic person is different and one person’s experience is still amazing representation. I love that Chloe is autistic herself . This is my 3rd Chloe book & although i dont know if she is one of my faves . I do know i wanna continue reading books of hers that are on my tbr ( especially those with autism rep) . i love how accepting and supportive of her Jonathan is of Gabi .

i love how he remembers her hot chocolate order ( and when the barista fucked it up he made them make it again) - Just for her .

- I love that he doesn’t judge her for doing things certain ways or doing certain things . EVEN WHEN HE DIDNT KNOW SHE WAS AUTISTIC.

This whole book is literally such an amazing book & i can say i adored it while listening to it .

i didn’t have a lot of expectations for this because novellas are always a hit or miss for me, but this was a pleasant read. i loved the various representations, and the struggles both characters dealt with were very relatable. their chemistry was really good too, and i loved the banter. that’s about all, though! i didn’t necessarily love it since the plot is super predictable but that’s fine for such a short read.

So, I don't know how I feel about this specific novella. It's a good one overall, but it was so damn predictable. Like seriously I knew from the start what was going to happen.

A friend of mine recommended it saying that since I LOVED the hating game, I'm also gonna love this one. I don't hate it, but I also don't love it. Like I won't be going around in circles screaming on top of my lungs that, omg I read the mistletoe motive.

I can see why people love this, I might also have loved it if I had not read the hating game first. Individually it had a cute storyline and a cute ending. But that was it, cute.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a sucker for cute books but those books also have something else in addition to that cuteness, like a plot twist or some essence of originality.

I was torn between giving it a four-star review or a three-star one. Giving a three-star felt unjust to their love, and giving a four felt unjust to my feelings. So I end up deciding on a three-star.

simple and super cute "i hate my coworker. they are so infuriating" but really it's "omg. please love me."
