"booze takes a lot of time and effort if you're going to do a good job with it"

some of these short stories were just so bizarre at first glance and yet you see yourself in each of the characters he creates. with simple conversations between characters you read the themes of loss, memories, regret, conflict, paralysis, awareness and disconnection...the list goes on. these stories make you think and once you start thinking, they sure do make you think even more.

loved the cover and the title - much sadder than i was expecting 
:( i wanted rly lovely sweet short stories but it was very much like what love has become and all the fucked up versions of it. not memorable
