all the plot twists???? my heart can't handle it. I swear everytime I think I don't love this series, the next volume comes out and ruins me. This had me crying so much

All I can say is, that is a stunning reveal about the One-Eyed King. So perfectly written and drawn and, and crafted, really. I can't say that I even cared all that much about up to this point, and yet!
The other twist about also really took me by surprise, but it was so good. (Not least because it ...)

THE ENDING I STG
Okay but the fact that’s Kaneki is going to be the one-eyed king gets me (I mean I had a suspicion but still)
ALSO ARIMA - I screamed when he killed himself and then had already planned to help Kaneki escape??!! And we still don’t know what his plans are!! I should have known he would die bc he’s on the cover.
As long as Suzuya turns out okay Sui Ishida will be forgiven
Sui Ishida is getting me with these plot twists and I don’t want to have it any other way

I always forget how messed up Tokyo Ghoul is until I reread it D: I love them all so much why can't anyone be HAPPY!!!

¿Existe algún personaje mal escrito en Tokyo Ghoul? No lo creo realmente, incluso un personaje tan poco importante como Torso tuvo su historia que me dejó con la piel de gallina al leerla. Es impresionante lo bien pensado que está esto.
Como vi el anime primero hace ya más de cinco años nunca pensé que me encariñaría con Arima. Incluso con su ova lo veía como un personaje secundario que sólo apareció para matar al protagonista, pero claro la obra original (este manga ysi) y la continuación (re) hizo que viera a este personaje con otros ojos. Haise lo describió como su figura paterna incluso si no compartieran la sangre y, por ocho volúmenes, Arima (junto con Akira) fue lo más cercano a una familia que tanto Haise como Kaneki pudieron tener, por lo que sí, no paré de llorar en este volumen tampoco jasjas
