It was okay. It didn't really catch me like I expected. The little banter between the characters were good, but I found some typos. Unsure if that's on purpose or not It just threw me off. Overall a good book, but Tiktok hyped it up too much and it didn't live up to the expectation.

We Hunt the Flame is the first of an enemies to lovers fantasy duology inspired by the kingdoms of ancient Arabia. I adored the characters as soon as they were introduced and rooted for them the entire time. Nasir and Zafira are two broken people who never thought to have love in their lives, but are instantly attracted to the sadness and understanding they see in each other's eyes. Big Reylo vibes all around, so of course I love their banter and angsty relationship. While YA, there's a lot of violence as the duo and their found family of friends attempt to bring magic back to the kingdom. But what else could you expect from the Hunter and the Prince of Death teaming up?
