This book was a solid 4 stars until the last 50 pages. I loved all the past life stories, and the plot build-up was great. So when the big twist came, it was a bit of a let down? And then it became a bit predictable through the end. I feel like there was a lot more story there that got cut or just never developed. Anyways, still an enjoyable read. Definitely gave Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab vibes.

The premise for this book is incredible but the execution just isn’t quite there. Overall an engaging read but the conclusion felt rushed and didn’t leave me totally satisfied.

This was not a bad book by any means. I thought it was beautifully written and I enjoyed the chapters in the past with all the history woven throughout.
This was just missing the wow factor. I didn’t feel the yearning, life altering love between them. I felt like I was just told this is how they feel about each other with nothing to really back it up.
