This book was extremely good. It made me cry. It made me laugh. It had drama and fluff. But the one of the things that stood out to me is that it showed high school as it is. There was no extreme popular person that stalked the halls through a wave of parting students. It’s the high school experience of mixing friend groups and finding yourself through your friends. The book also handles coming out with care. It shows the difficulties and the stress and it doesn’t pressure anyone to do anything they don’t want to. So not only is the book more accurate but it has more drama. It has more conflict. I personally loved the book and really got into it.

A well written book although nothing ground breaking, the common themes of LGBT teen love, tragedy, loss and upheavel are all ticked off. I give it a 3.5/5

Cliche, idk if campy is the right word, but everything about was so high school. Which makes sense because they're high schoolers. But I read a lot of ya and this was still... Idk
