I have loved everyone of these books! While it was a very hood ending to the series my kids and I do hope for more mercy books. We also are hopping for two deckawoo drives with frank and the new character in this lady Mercy. If your kid likes pugs and funny heart warming stories then this series is for you.

So sad to see this series end but this book was a perfect ending. I loved seeing the entire "cast" come together!

I find the Mercy Watson books much better as audiobooks.

Goofy, but not as cute as others in the series.

Mercy is in buttery heaven in this story!
Mercy and the Watsons head to the movie theatre where buttery scents waft through the drive-in. Will Mercy enjoy some of the bottomless buck of yummy buttery treats? Who will she meet while at the theatre? Hint--all the usual folks including Leroy the redeemed cowboy in training ex-burglar.
A cute story and probably my favorite of the Mercy Watson series.

My 6 year old's rating and review.

"I thought it was funny how Mercy Watson ran to the smell of butter and it was funny how she was running around to all the cars! It's silly how every ending is a big picture of everyone eating toast."

My 5 year old loves this series, and when my older boys hear me reading them they come over to listen too. Very fun.

The final mercy Watson book. My son enjoyed seeing the characters from each story make return appearances. Loved anticipating the punch lines. I do wish however that the world of mercy Watson wasn't so white. But the characters are fun and my son enjoyed the whole series.
