Sort've ho hum, but I think that was more the treasure being chased than the chase itself. The writing was better than the second book (Hercules) and the overall flow worked better, but I couldn't care too much if the sword was found and if the bad guys didn't get their way.

2 stars for this one. I liked how the author mixed in the mythology of king Arthur and Atlantis but there was so much action that could have been cut out, at least 100 pages of it.

Great for Indiana Jones fans. Same style as M. Reilly, fast packed action and the hunt for a relic. Loved it.

Silly over the top action-adventure, but I'm really enjoying the series!

An intriguing premise for the possibility of the discovery of Excalibur and proving that King Arthur truly existed. I enjoyed THE HUNT FOR ATLANTIS when I read it a few years ago, so added the series to the WWBL and found myself in the mood for an archeological thriller. Bought it at the store and decided to immediately dive in. I might shoulda waited. I was in the mood to have it on Mt Git'r'Read, but apparently not to read this particular series at this time. I read it, but didn't enjoy it after the first half. I know the point of most thrillers is exhaustive action, but it became almost too much this time around or it rubbed me the wrong way.
I will put it on the shelf and try again later. Or find #2 in the series then go back to this one. I have done this in the past and had success when in the right reading mood.
will likely recommend in the future.

Kept me engrossed throughout the whole book, and while the main objective was completed halfway through the book, the second half fortunately did not feel forced or rushed.

This time Eddie and Nina are searching for Arthur's famous sword Excalibur, and they need to stay one step ahead of a group of Russians to once again keep the world safe from yet another weapon of mass destruction.

But they have more than just bleach blonde Russians to worry about here. Lo and behold patterns keep true to form when a supposed friend turns out to be more than they seem.

Ah well. Business as usual for Eddie and Nina. At least they set a date for the wedding....

1) Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

2) Genre: Adventure

3) Synopsis: Excalibur used to be the most powerful weapon of its time and can help create the most powerful weapon of today. Nina and Eddie race to find it to stop it from being used for bad.

4) Feelings: This is the third book in the Nina Wilde & Eddie Chase series. All these books have a bit of the unbelievable in them. It is sort of like watching a James Bond movie. You just go in expecting action and adventure and try not to worry about believability. Still I love the ideas and items that Nina and Eddie need to find.

5) Final recommendation: I have liked all three of these books. If you liked the first to pick this book right up. It is fun and entertaining. Eddie was a little whiney in it but I forgave him in the end.
