ahh this book was good. Wes and Jamie… their relationship was amazing. i loved them so much. the only reason i gave it 3 stars is because i found the beginning a bit slow and hard to get into and also i skimmed most of the pages that weren’t about Wes and Jamie… oop.

What could have been hotter than 2 hot guys playing hockey together? Answer: Those two hot guys having the hots for each other (and doing something about it)!

Okay, I won't reveal much, and even if I wanted to, there are just no words that I can come up with right now. Both characters (Jamie and Wes) are sweet, charming, and hot, and cute, and adorable and...Goodness! Do I need a thesaurus or what? I seem to be running out of pointless adjectives, and looks like my vocabulary was whacked out of my brain.

Let me try again. The story was just unexpectedly good, and one of a kind - and I mean that in every sense, because this is the only one of its kind (M-M romance) that I have ever read. I refused to read M-M books but was tempted to cave in on this one, because I've seen it all over the place and so my curiosity got the better of me. Never had I been more thankful that I was a morbidly curious person. Because after tiptoeing at the first few pages, and then flipping through some more, I find myself immersed and hooked into the story that it's pretty much impossible to ignore that yes, I'm liking it. Maybe a bit too much.

Okay, okay, I won't say anything else. And this time, I mean it. You got to read this and see for yourself. Though don't say I didn't warn you! The err..."positions" (and I was not referring to their positions in hockey, know what I mean?) may be a bit unsettling for some.

Honestly hot and smutty. Cute story, not too much drama. Perfect short read and wholesome almost the entire way.

4.5 stars to this magnificent book!

I went into this blind. I had a few people recommend this book to me and who am I to say no to a M/M romance? Plus it’s pride month you know?

I don’t even know where to start with this. I loved every single little bit about this book. I loved getting to see what each MC was thinking in their head when it came to one another. The way Jamie took his time figuring out why he was feeling the way he was with Wes and why his body was reacting to him so much. It was beautiful to read and I think the author wrote it well.

Jaime and Wes were meant for each other. That’s 100% certain. They went from best friends, to strangers for 4 years, to friends, then to lovers. Watching their relationship progress over the 6 weeks while they were coaches at the same camp they used to attend was beautiful. I loved how honest they were with each other and how 99% of the time they knew how to communicate they’d feeling and make sure the other person was okay.

What is even a really good gay romance? I have high standards but I think HIM really rises to the top! It was incredibly fast-paced and entertaining, I kept wanting to know what would happen next. Wes and Jamie?? 10/10. Good dynamics, good dialogue even if it sometimes felt implausible but whatever. Really fucking cute!!

I love Jamie and Ryan (Wes). Learning how they met and what happened in the past was probably my favorite part because it was written well. I enjoyed them both being coaches for a summer training camp. Seeing them in a different light when interacting with young hockey players was moving since they were invested in the kid’s growth. It was a fun and cute romance. Very spicy 🥵
