Vampire romances are so hit and miss, sadly this was a major miss for me. A shame because the idea or the plot sounded pretty good but the actual book didn't work well for me and there isn't a point in pushing through with a book if its not working.
The writing seemed more aimed at a younger reader and I just felt bored. Nothing majorly bad, I suspect if you're a teen 17 years old or around that this may work well and you'd enjoy it but 27 years old? Not so much...
