Talk about being direct! I don't think Niecy could have been any clearer with her intentions on her relationship with RJ! aaaaand I loved it! I loved seeing a woman say exactly what's on her mind.

The beginning of their relationship was so pure and I loved the story of them getting to know each other. I wish the story could have been a little longer, so I could have gotten more of them interacting with each other because they were so cute together. I was so glad the age difference didn't really stay a factor for long!

I was confused on why RJ was so hellbent on just being friends with Niecy. I really wanted to know why he had commitment issues. like did something happen orrr?

Ms. Michelle got exactly what she was looking for too! She most definitely had the right one. All in all, their story ended perfectly and I loved their HEA.

Loved it...

Kimberly Brown has been a wonderful surprise and top tier when it comes to my fave authors.

I thoroughly enjoyed RJ and Niecy. I loved that Niecy was straightforward and blunt. I was with her all the way. I also loved watching RJ evolve. Their chemistry was so good.

Another great read from Ms. Brown. I'm 2 books away from completing her catalogue then I'm gonna be like a joneser waiting for the next new book

Niecy and RJ stole my whole heart. Niecy knew she was perfect for him, and knew he was perfect for her, but RJ's resistance to opening himself up got her friend zoned. I was proud of Niecy for drawing a hard line and making it clear that RJ needed to keep his distance if he couldn't give her what she needed. The two of them were pretty hot, and it was so satisfying seeing RJ come out of that shell. I thought he'd never stop being so stubborn, but I should have known jealousy would be the key. I loved that. Niecy was fun, and funny. Her character was so sweet. Definitely the sunshine to RJ's grumpy, lol.

Taking off a star because it felt a little rushed compared to book one and so there was a lot more detail that wasn’t added to help us understand their relationship

Love Me Some Cartwright Men

Kimberly, girl, you make it so hard to stay loyal to my
other book baes, lol! An excellent follow up to Sime and Ari’s story. I love how Niecy has her own stuff going on and she’s in school. Thank you for showing how stubborn older men can be, cause Chile, RJ a whole headache lol. Loved reading their love unfold. I’ve said it once and I’m going to keep on saying it. You don’t miss!

Let me start by saying, I love Doniece “Niecy” Tillman! She is a real one, goes after what she wants and is a true definition of a best friend, sis is an overall strong female that uses her common sense. Like I said, she goes after what she wants and what she wants is Richard “RJ” Cartwright Jr.

RJ was trying to play like he didn’t want my girl because she is younger than him (10 years his junior) and love has never really been his thing. These two hit it off and they are doing everything together from hanging out and chilling at either of their homes, to having a scheduled lunch date  every Tuesday, I mean RJ was really behaving like a boyfriend,  but he then decides to hit my girl with the “I just want to be friends” BS!

I love that Niecy new her worth, and she was not about to go begging and pleading behind no man, no matter how much she wanted said man. So with hurt feelings Niecy decided to move on… but one thing about them tables, they always turn… RJ couldn’t shake the fact that he had true feelings for Niecy so he grew a pair and told my girl his feelings for her.

These two were super cute! Their story seemed very realistic, we’ve all had that experience when a man is fighting his feelings for you like he is Mike Tyson. And that was RJ that man didn’t want to admit that he had it bad 😂 but he got it together.
