This series has yet to fail me or my confidence in recommending it both to the library collection and to friends with kids.

This book in the series features something going really haywire at the Junior High that Harry Moon attends as his favorite teachers are replaced by substitutes or are harried by new curriculums. All of the changes seem to be led by Professor Einstone, who loves reality and has it out for magic, Harry's favorite subject.

The Good Mischief Team must come together and even pretend to join the dark side to find out what is behind the dark doing at school. It'll be okay though and I love their group anthem.

"We don’t fight with sticks and stones
We don’t want to break your bones
We have a much more ingenious scheme
We are the Good Mischief Team.

Might does not make right
So when we take on an epic fight
We are trained to fol ow the gleam
We are the Good Mischief Team.

We never like to make things tragic
We use reason, heart, and magic
We take the lead from the brightest dream
For we are the Good Mischief Team."

This book is the first one I read in the Harry Moon and frineds/family universe. What is good with this series is that it present various story with different character has the main one, but always in the same universe. The problem, at least for me, is that this universe is not that good. It is complexe and well developped, but to «normal» for me. I was expecting way more fantasy in it, there is, but not that much, and that was a big disapointement for me! You could have a look at anyone of them, they are easy to get in, and you will see if it's for you... A good point is that it's really close to a children life, so maybe the 8-1o years old could see themself in those character and be more attracted by the story then I was!
