"I am human, I think nothing human alien to me.
Now there's an identity that should bind us all."
I won this book for free through goodreads first reads. Kwame Anthony Appiah discusses the most common classifications that people use to identify themselves, including gender, religion, country, race, social class, and culture. He also illustrates how each of these identifying factors are flawed and are therefore invalid means of identification. The author is obviously very knowledgeable about the subject and the book held my interest for the most part, but there were a few times when the context went a little out of my debt.

this book is very good!!! but if you’ve ever read about identity and cultures and stuff mentioned in this book before, i’m pretty sure you’ll agree with me that it’s nothing groundbreaking and you probably won’t learn many new things. but definitely if you’re interested in starting to study these things whether it be for academic reasons or just for personal reasons, this is the book i’d recommend as it is super informative and really easy to read.

Twas good, just got tired with the later examples and how much history was given around them
