I've read the original....... but the ending to this, I love most.

There's is nothing else to say about this book other than it was absolutely heart felt.

S.D. Simper has done an outstanding job at this retelling and I was on the edge of my seat when Laura yeeted herself into the fire.

Like yes girlie, save your girl but damn.... don't that hurt just a little?

I also might have giggled a lot when Madame Perrodon waked in on them and Carm just turned into the "monster" (I'm certain everyone who's read this book has at least watched the webseries once and knows that our friendly vampire is also a giant, black cat

Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes. A gorgeous retelling that closely followed the original, but with the ending that we deserve!! I will say, I do wish this had been a little longer so that there could have been more expansion and development of the original story, but I absolutely loved this overall <3

Adorable fun goth girls forbidden lovers and there’s a HEA

this just enhances the original
Also very much gives Lisa Frankenstein vibes
