I'm surprised Isuzu was so naive as to believe Ren. Ren is just as bad as Akito, causing harm to everyone she encounters. I'm curious to see what will happen with them in the future.
It seems like Hatsuharu's bond might be close to breaking with the way he acted towards Akito. I think Shigure is right about the bond weakening. Though it isn't happening quick enough for poor Tohru. She's been stressed out for the past few volumes it seems

I'm not invested in Yuki/Machi but I think they're sweet.

I really don't care about the Prince Yuki girls and I'm glad that's over.

I love every single scene involving Rin/Hatsuharu so I loved this one.

I think the fact that the curse will break itself over time for all of them is a great concept. I have the theory that the bond represents the bond children have with their abusive parents, and that's why it affects the older Soma differently, because they were always older than Akito, so their relationship with her was always different.

God Damn, this one was even MORE shocking than the last one.

That's it I absoloutely despise Akito
SpoilerI know she has the whole tragic past thing, but I just can't like her. I don't think she will ever become good, or change. I'll use him through the rest of the review as well, because let's face it- this is the ultimate secret.
I can't see how this is going to end unless someone stops him. But how do you stop a person basically possessed by God, and can command most of you're friends?
I really want Hatu to beat the sh** out of him. Well at least he gave him a good scare, and turned his back on him. I hate Akito so much for doing that to Rin, why can't he just let them be together. Not only that it's all the more sad because he locks her in the place where the cat spirit goes!
Up until the end I really felt like I was the only one who remembered he was going to be locked up! Then Tohru had her moment at the end, but come on this issue needs to be dealt with or at least acknowledged. I'm a little disappointed in Rin acting so surprised that Tohru cared. Then again she has been away from everyone for a decent amount of time, but who can't see the connection between Tohru and Kyo- it's been so obvious from the first volume!

Other than that there was som more stuff about the student council that I didn't care about that much. Way to go Yuki though, helping out Machi, I think they would be great together. That little spark of happiness was overshadowed by the pretty dark theme from the rest of the volume though.

Once again a lot, yet not as lot as the one before, happens in this book. As the series is coming towards its end a lot more is revealed about the relations and the curse of the Sohma family.
