Wow, this was a phenomenal book.
It's a quite short book which took me almost a month to read but right from the beginning I realised I wanted to take my time with this story. When I wasn't reading it, I found myself thinking about these characters throughout the day.
Everything I Never Told You was so interesting - with the 70s setting, the Chinese-American family, their struggles, the circumstances of some family members. Loved it and definitely recommend this!

This book hit me so hard. There were so many different issues that the author dealt with, which I usually am not a fan of, but it was just put together so well. I kept having to remind myself of the setting, though, because of the social issues in this time period. All of the characters were so real; they had so many flaws but they were so realistic and relatable. I honestly can't even completely explain my feelings towards this book, but it was just truly amazing. Beautifully written and put together perfectly.
