It was a cute rom com, it was really smutty. Some scenes were a bit out of pocket I feel, too much of the c word for my liking what do you mean you're doing anal and double penetration before vag sex, I'm sorry but that's insane. The period sex traumatised me a bit and also him licking his own "seed" in multiple scenes (I hate that word so much). It was a bit much . The chemistry was there and they were a cute couple. It was entertaining but nothing to write home about.

Too much kink in this for my tastes.
Almost dnf’d when he licked his own jizz off her chest. Lot of butt stuff. Praise kink front of center.

I was intrigued in the beginning i wont lie. Cooper has some dry spell that has him not acting his best self at games and Penny has a mysterious sexx list that wants to accomplish cause she cannot make herself arrive. Upon stumbling on each other they hook up, he learns she's his coach daughter (which admittedly it was fun to see him freak out about it) and they get to an arrangement to become fuck buddies so they can solve both their problems. And we get on this journey with them, with LOTS and I mean maybe just a little too much sexy times for my liking. I understand that a big part of the plot was her sexual agenda but still... Cooper on the other hand was such a great dirty talker, his lines where just *chefs kiss* even tho he really starts going at it since the first time they hook up and I was like chill dude you don't even know her and made me question him for a few chapters cause I was having the thought of him talking like that to every girl he slept with and it left a bad taste that he would just reuse those lines but honestly I quickly forgot about it. He is generally speaking top tier book boyfriend material, he was so sweet and patient with penny , caring about her - he definitely fell first- and was trying to win her trust little by little. As for penny honestly her whole agenda was a bit confusing. Like she was experimenting with Cooper in EVERY SINGLE WAY possible except for simple intercourse, and like I get that she had a background trauma or whatever but she did way more things than that with Cooper despite her trauma and I don't know when in the end we learnt what happened with her ex I was like huh? But I haven't been( thankfully) in her place so I'm not one to judge but I personally found it kinda strange. Binge read it in a day...
Spoiler free advice: if you are uncomfortable with any type of sexual activities perhaps look into the trigger warnings.

I should probably be mad at Grace Reilly for writing such a perfect MMC, because my standards for men are now entirely too high. Cooper Callanan is l i t e r a l l y perfection. It’s like she got inside my head and found my most perfect type of man.
But seriously, this book was fantastic. The perfect amount of touching moments + witty banter + funny side characters. I enjoyed the hell out of this entire novel and I’m so crushed I don’t have a Cooper

This book blew me away. So I felt so-so after finishing First Down but this one was so good. The storyline was better laid out and the characters had a better backstory and story progression in my opinion. This one was definitely spicier but it also played into a part of on of the character’s story which made it better. I definitely saw the improvement in this one and excited to see what the rest of the series brings!
