Incredible artwork pairs with tremendously moving text--this book is a treasure for children (and their adults) who have a spark ready to be fanned. Fantastic.

I work in a library as a minion and as I was shelving in the picture book section, I couldn't help but be drawn to the cover of this "new" book. The little boy is so beautiful and cute and you just can't help but want to know his story. Nikkolas Smith has illustrated a wonderful book mixing the arts with activism and it is beautifully told through the eyes and actions of this beautiful boy. I had goosebumps and tears of joy as I read this book. It provided me with hope for our future generations to do something about the things they see broken in this world. Well done, Nikkolas Smith, well done.
