Absurdism goes well with having a job. One must imagine me happy, too.

❝Rising, street-car, four hours in the office or the factory, meal, street-car, four hours of work, meal, sleep, and Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday according to the same rhythm-this path is easily followed most of the time. But one day the ❝why❞ arises and everything begins in that weariness tinged with amazement.❞
When I started reading this book this part was the most amazing to me because this is the life I was living at the time. I went to work every day (the work I despised) for weeks and then one day would wake up and ask myself why am I doing this. It was a depressing time but this book made me realise that those feelings are natural and normal. That nothing matters so why not be happy.
Not to mention I really enjoyed reading Camus' essay about Kafka since he is one of my favourite authors as well as essays 'The conquest' and 'Don Juanism'.
This book is one of the classics and is worth reading.:)
