trigger warnings: death of parent mention, bullying

This was such a fun book. I'm a bit upset with myself for not looking up whether this was a series or not before reading this because now I'm done with the third book so all the stuff in the first two are just spoilt for me.

I loved the camaraderie in this book, the value in friendship that the book emphasizes, and the general sense of found family.

The DnD vibes of this book also made this SOOO much fun to read. The writing is hilarious and comforting and make this a fantastic comfort read for kids and adults alike.
