First, hated the ending.
It felt like the author just gave up on the story, and it didn't read at all like a mysterious ambiguous choice.
Second, like the other book I read by this author, the premise is really promising, but the execution doesn't work. It doesn't seem like she knows what a meme is as opposed to a social media trend. And these kids skip school WAY too much for the current technological age. It's just not realistic. I think I need to move onto another author. Also too many people died again for me to really try to care about each one. I feel like the author gets away with not digging into deep emotion by just killing another character. So the characters have murder whiplash instead of facing their grief and fear.

This was okay, but definitely not great. None of the characters felt like real people. I just didn’t believe most of the story. There was a lot of stupid high school drama that I didn’t need. The main character was incredibly dumb so much of the time. I’m not sure what to think of the ending—I think I liked the twist, but it felt super abrupt to just end it there. I felt like my copy was missing the last 50 pages lol.

This was a really good story. It kept me wanting to know more all the way through. It was a rollercoaster of events especially towards the end when you just want to know who the killer is already at that point. And even though the killer/ending had already been spoiled for me before reading it, I still found myself shocked by the ending as we're left with even more questions left unanswered. Despite the unanswered questions and shocking ending I think it does end just the way it should. I feel like I could contradict myself if I keep talking so I'm gonna leave this with that. I did highly enjoy this story and would definitely recommend.
