A tad bit predictable, but it did not make the book ANY LESS SHOCKING. THE LAST FEW PAGES?! I have no words.. I did not expect that ending. I stared at the last page for about five minutes after I finished reading it… I just. I cannot. That is all.

If you’ve read any of her books, you know how frustrating the endings can be. That being said, I can’t stop reading all the books she has in this style. I very much enjoy the writing and pace of the books!

The writing style kind of annoyed me. It reminds me of how I would have written a story back in early years of high school

Let's just say The Fear left me with many, many new fears.

So, originally, I picked up this book with fairly low standards, as the previous few books I've read from Natasha Preston weren't exactly my cup of tea. "I'll give these books one last chance" is what I told myself as I walked out of the bookstore. This book exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The twists were rich and meaningful to the story. My head was definitely spinning by the time the final twist was revealed.

Briefly, the characters felt like real people, the plot was well thought out, and the clues all added up in the end. The final twist is believable, but not necessarily predictable. Whether or not this book is a literary masterpiece is entirely irrelevant, because I thoroughly enjoyed my time reading this story.

And no, I will not be getting any amount of sleep tonight after that last page.

This was a really good story. It kept me wanting to know more all the way through. It was a rollercoaster of events especially towards the end when you just want to know who the killer is already at that point. And even though the killer/ending had already been spoiled for me before reading it, I still found myself shocked by the ending as we're left with even more questions left unanswered. Despite the unanswered questions and shocking ending I think it does end just the way it should. I feel like I could contradict myself if I keep talking so I'm gonna leave this with that. I did highly enjoy this story and would definitely recommend.
