this was the worst book ive ever read. idea was great, terribly executed. this author should NOT write teenager POV anymore, she is far too out of touch. The book itself could have saved like 50% of repetitive thoughts/dialogue. this was so painful. i hate it so much. stop telling this author shes good.

The Fear by Natasha Preston was deliriously entertaining for fans of true crime, such as myself. This book has an incredible ending that received the rare and coveted audible gasp when I finished it. The twists and turns of this novel kept me engaged, and I read it all as fast as I could muster. I’ll be quickly adding all of Natasha Preston’s other books to my TBR. If you’re looking for a worthwhile (though a little graphic) thriller that puts you in the mind of the killer, look no further. My biggest complaint, is that it felt too short and that it could have used some more murder vs. investigation (which of course is okay because this is fiction!!!! I’m in no way condoning actual murder obviously). This is certainly a thriller worth your time, and is a unique and interesting concept that integrates modern social media, true crime, mystery, and suspense in a neat little package with a beautiful cover
