Another really great read. Kept me hooked to the end and then I immediately downloaded Silo #3.

There’s one story that I wasn’t as attached to but I think it was still important to tell. Enjoyed more than the first book.

Sooooo goooood and dark. Dark dark parts of humankind and collective psyches but I can’t look away

I really appreciated the expansion of the Silo universe. As someone who wants to know the backstory of sci-fi universes, I appreciated the artful way in which this was done.

The planning of the silos. From architecture blueprints to how lives came to live in them was great to read. I haven’t began the third and final book of the series but I have a lot of questions and I hope they get answered. In the meantime, it’s nice to think about how all the silos came to be inhabited; who authorized the bombs; why the women in Silo One were kept in cryo; and what is the ultimate goal.

Howley leaves the reader in great suspense with every chapter ending. The book is a true dystopian page turner.

At last the story of Silo! A good read that got better the further along I got.

I thought this was definitely weaker than the first book in the series. I think it would’ve benefitted from being shortened significantly. The motivations behind why what happens happens almost made me stop reading the book because it felt so sinister , but plausible

Not quite as good as Wool but damn close. I wasn't a huge fan of the flashback chapters, but after reading the whole book and the sequel (Dust) I understand the need for them.
