The book is written well, I’ll give it that. It’s lyrical and I like how t jumps back and forth from the past to the present. But I just can’t get over the fact that there wasn’t a single character that I felt sympathy for. Griffin seemed spoiled and selfish. I get it, he’s grieving. But he plays with everyone’s emotions like it’s nothing. And the other relationships in the book felt very forced. A disappointing first Adam Silvera Book for me...

I feel myself becoming a fan of Adam Silveras writing style.

I love Adam Silvera's writing so much. It's easy and entertaining to read, there's something happening on every page of the book. I'm so happy I finally read this one and I can't wait to read They Both Die At The End and What If It's Us.

adam silvera hits it out of the park one more time! anything this man writes is instantly amazing. he's written so so well in everything that i've read and i can't wait for the sequel to TBDATE to come out later this year!

this book was absolutely amazing. it kept coming out with curveball after curveball, however, the development in characters throughout didn't suffer due to this. the main character, despite being slightly self destructive, was written so well, and every character had such distinctive and understandable personalities.

one of my favourite books thus far, however i didn't expect any less from adam silvera! cannot wait to read more of his works!

I have wanted to read Adam Silvera for so long and I don't know what I was waiting for because this was amazing.

This book is so beautiful and I think it dealt with grief and Griffin's OCD really well. The relationships were really fleshed out and sweet, and I liked that we were reading about the present and learning about the past at the same time, in interchanging chapters. I finished the audiobook while walking my dog and thank god I had sunglasses on because it made me cry.
