I love this plot and the characters, but something about the story structure is a bit off- too many secrets are open for too long, and it's obvious that they're plot lines (Violet's hair, her parents, Brennan and his mom definitely have drama, Xaden's mom is 100% alive, etc.). That being said, I did NOT see the final plot twist coming at all. I was genuinely shocked.
Andarna is my favorite dragon (but there's too many names and it's confusing). "I have black scales because I want to be just like Tairn" was SO cute.
