I couldn't put this down, but I didn't love it. Why is everyone on the verge of death in every chapter? It has all the insipid over infatuation of Twilight, another series I felt similarly about.

I really did not like this book. The last 30% was decent and exciting but that does not justify the pointless 800 pages before that
