Great read! Outstanding character development. Some new ones to love and some to hate. Battle details were so vivid you could easily picture in your mind! Some good plot twists. Not all were surprises, but they were still quite entertaining. Thankful the bickering slowed a bit in the second half of the book. If the point was to show their relationship will alway be tumultuous....success! Foreshadowing? The final chapter was heart-wrenching but predictable, in hindsight. It was in line with that irrational thinking one might experience based out of love, fear...and exhaustion.
