Amazing chemistry as always between V and X so fucking hot and the fact that now X is huge on communication and words is so hot/romantic/endearing
V as always so freaking smart, her emotional vulnerability was a little hard to read after she was so confident and sassy in the last book but I totally understand where it came from and it was needed so she could grow
Won’t lie she might be a little delulu to expect 100% transparency all the time….but it might work for them
Love the story arc for Sloane did not predict that
I also really appreciate that the side cast of characters beyond X and V never feel forgotten or secondary everyone gets development and growth it makes the whole book more wholesome and authentic

After fairly enjoying Fourth Wing I have to say: this was probably one of the worst books I ever read. I only pushed through because of stubbornness. I feel this book was solely designed to kill off my enjoyment of reading. Don't think I'll continue the series. Save yourself the trouble.
