Still wondering why SJM decided to pull off Tamlin from being the main male lead to Rhysand.

Also, loads of war scenes and what is up with faes and snapping everyone's necks? Bookstores that put this series on Young Adult shelves need to really do their research. It takes A FEW SEconDS to google it and see that there is nothing so young adult about this series. I just want it to end here. Don't think I'll continue reading the 4th and 5th books.

Suriel and Bone Carver, are both my MVPs tbh.

My face is hot from crying. I feel better now after finishing the book. This is an experience. A complete experience. This series is one that I will truly cherish I think. It just brings life right back into you. I have so many post it notes in this book, noting things and my reactions. I have pages marked that are important and special. It’s so much. I love it.

I really loved the last book and this one just didn’t fully compare to that one…I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that Feyre and Rhys are already mated/married so there’s not really any angst or tension with them anymore. Don’t get me wrong…they have a beautiful relationship and I love them together and their story to how they got there buuuut…it got a little boring to read about over and over again about how much they love each other when they’re already together.

I was way more interested in the Nesta/Cassian thing that was going on and wanted to read more of that.

I think this book was once again just way too long. It was still interesting to read and I was definitely invested in the story and loved the war plot line…but because so much happened in this one book and the pacing was very slow it kind of took away some of the stakes while working up to that insane ending.

Idk. This one is somewhere between 3 and 4 for me.

I'm glad there's a while before the next one comes up on Libby. I need a break.
