I really enjoyed this book, I read it 90% in one sitting. There isn't anything in particular that stands out to me about this book (in comparison to the other works I've read by the author), but as per usual, such emotion pours out of this book through Keegan's use of language, which is especially impressive considering the small page count. Also, I thought it was really interesting how this book is written from a child's perspective, but does not have the narrative voice that a child would have, idk just made me think that I prefer Keegan's works when the narrator is an adult.

The final page and a half was a bit confusing to me, but after some research I understand it better, but I felt that the ending could have benefitted from some additional paragraphs..
