This five book series was addictive. Overall the five books equaled to about 700 pages, but I’ve never read 700 pages this fast in my life. I like that the story was broken up into five smaller books and that the first four ended on cliffhangers. The series was super fast paced and I was never once bored. You really root for the female main character from the beginning, and all the side characters (that aren’t the bad guys) are really likeable!
This book was definitely dark, so mind your trigger warnings! Not for the faint of heart, but overall a really great series that kept you engaged if you like dark thrillers with a touch of romance.

Cute 5'4 ft girl who looks like she works out but never says no if you offer her a cookie or some tacos meets a tall, smart and handsome boy who pays for her muffin at a cafe. They obviously fall in love and do lots of things together, mostly naked. In her spare time she tortures and kills a bunch of dudes that crossed her and her family in the past, while also casually killing a serial killer that the FBI couldn't catch for shit. She's a little stabby, her bf is an FBI profiler who's trying to catch her. Bodies drop, towns burn, some unbelievable Chuck Norris kinda fighting ensues with a side of Laura Croft shooting while sporting a sexy tank top and tight pants in the middle of winter. And they all live happily ever after, well minus the bad guys - they obviously don't make it. The end.
I loved it. I was so surprised at how much. It was wickedly weird, twisty and steamy with a love story just as dark and twisty.

Stop whatever you’re doing! If you have not read this book yet then you are seriously missing out. I waited way too long to do so myself. FBI agent falls for a serial unaliver makes for a lot of twists and edge of your seat pages! You won’t regret it!
