2.25. I mean, it was propulsive, so I’ll give it that. But it was also 3x the length it should’ve been, lacked depth, and had characters that sounded the same. The pacing was truly bizarre.

Lana and Marcus deserved better than the cards they were given. Being able to see Lana go through all this just goes to show that she is a bad bitch!! I mean she killed all these men and pretty much got away with it!! Logan was and probably will forever be her sanity. To read about what the Evans family had to go through was absolutely soul crushing and I truly cannot stress this enough that I am grateful they got what they deserved. These two as well as their story will forever be engraved into my heart <3

There are no words that fully capture how I felt after finishing this book. The backstory, the characters, the soul-crushing narrative—it was all just so good. I found this book through social media, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I fell in love with Lana from the very first page. She’s such a powerful and unforgettable FMC. In my eyes, she did no wrong—every single one of those people deserved what they got.
And don’t even get me started on the relationships and friendships in this story—I couldn’t get enough. It broke my heart to learn the author passed away. May she rest in peace 🕊️. This series will live rent-free in my head forever. I highly recommend it to anyone… but please, always check the trigger warnings before reading.

At first, I was just enjoying this book as a good little read. It was dark, intriguing, and well-paced. Then we got to book 3, and they cranked it all the way up! The tension, the reveals, the emotional rollercoaster - absolute perfection. S.T Abby had me on the edge of my seat, questioning my morals, and completely obsessed. Such a great read!
