Book Review……….My Wife Is Missing
by D.J. Palmer

After a long drive for a family vacation in New York City Micheal is out picking up a pizza order for his hungry family back at the hotel. When he returns to find that his family has disappeared he will do whatever it takes to get them back.

But Michael has been keeping a huge secret.

Writing a review for this book is really hard. I don't want to give anything away and it's the kind of book where you can't really say anything without giving something away. So I'm just going to tell you what I thought about the book and let you read it to see what it's about!

From the first chapter the action and suspense starts and it doesn't let up until the very last page! This is one of those books that nothing is what it seems and you don't get the whole picture till the very last page!

The story moves between Michael and Natalie but also before Nat disappeared and the present so you get to know the characters very well but also a really good understanding of why everything is going on. Not all at once but each chapter reveals just enough that you want to keep reading to find out the whole story. But the story flows well between the timeline.

I finished this book in a day and a half. I just couldn't put it down! The twists this book takes are crazy! And that is also something that happens till the very end. The minute you think you have it figured out and the book is about to come to a close something happens and your jaw hits the floor! Overall it was an addictive, intriguing and entertaining read! Happy reading everyone!

Thank you St. Martin's Press for sharing this amazing book with me!

Honestly, like, what did I just read/listen to. This book was wild.

Alternating pov, a small dual timeline, and two unreliable narrators! I was making guesses the entire time and I wasn't even near the truth. Maybe pieces of it but WOW, Palmer really knows how to layer the deceit and then blast everything you think you know in the end.

This one you need to be sort of blind going into. I will say it wasn't a 5 star for me because of one subject matter, cheating. Gah, why does that always have to be the go to lately for drama? It really was the driving force behind some actions and gave me pause several times, so I really had to push through to get to the better parts.

If that doesn't bug you and even if it does, I would still recommend for a thrilling read.

The narrator for the audio did a wonderful job in my opinion. It added to the reading experience.

Thank you SO much to St. Martin's Press, Macmillan Audio and D.J. Palmer for the gifted copies of this book for review.

There was nothing wrong with this book or the writing. I was curious to know if the suspicions were true. But it wasn’t for me. Maybe I’m not in the right head space for this type of thriller/mystery. I definitely want to read more from the author and encourage everyone to read this.

I was immediately hooked by this one but I did guess the plot twist early in the book. I didn't really care for the characters or the plot but it did wrap nicely so 3 stars

Wow! I’m not gonna lie this book was slow for me at first but the ending made it all worth it. I can usually tell the ending when it comes to thrillers but I didn’t see this one coming at all!

Natalie has been married to her husband Michael for over a decade. They live in Massachusetts with their two kids Addie and Bryce. They are the picture of a perfect family or so everyone thinks.

Natalie suffers from insomnia and hasn’t slept since she started thinking that her husband is having an affair. All she knows is that it is someone at the company she works for and she is driving herself mad trying to figure out who. However that isn’t all Natalie has to worry about.

Natalie needs to run. She tricks her husband into bringing the family to NYC and packs up the kids and runs while he is out picking up pizza. Why? Because her husband has been lying to her since the beginning of their marriage and she needs to get the kids to safety before Michelle finds them because who knows what he will do to them when he does.

UGH THIS BOOK! The plot twists where fantastic and the storytelling is next level. I couldn’t put it down at all! You need to put this on you tbr! Preorder your copy! Comes out May 2022!!

3.5 stars rounded up. Back and forth with the accusations throughout the book led to an unexpected murderer. It kept my interest but the end just confused me.
