If you are a self-taught artist of the manga art style, then this is a great reference to have on your bookshelf. Not only does it cover the basics of building a human body, it shows you how to add clothes without making them look almost painted onto the figure. There is even a section about how to draw multiple characters as well as some segments on perspective.

The layout of this book makes it easy to find what you are looking for and has an index in the back for quick searches. There is also a good variety of clothing types to practice drawings from the examples.

Irene Flores even provides little tips throughout the book as well as the more extensive art supply list but doesn't push you to go that quickly.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the style but also who want to get into drawing in this manner.
